Eczema is a general term for rash-like skin conditions. The most common type of eczema is called atopic dermatitis. Eczema is often very itchy. When you scratch it, your skin becomes red and inflamed (puffy). The appearance of skin affected by eczema will depend on how much a person scratches and whether the skin is infected. Scratching and rubbing further causes irritation on the skin, increases inflammation, and makes itching worse. All forms of eczema will itch. Sometimes the itching happens before the rash appears. Eczema/Rashes most commonly appear on the face, bends of the arms, wrists, hands, back of the knees, or feet but it may also affect other areas as well.

Eczema affects approximately 15-20% of children and 1-3% of adults worldwide, while its occurrence increased by 2- to 3-fold during the past decades in industrialized countries. It is a multifactorial, chronic inflammatory, and heterogeneous skin disorder resulting from interactions between genetic, immune, and environmental factors. Eczema starts with an itch, then to physical, and emotional symptoms that can impact a patient’s daily life, including mood, relationships, work performance, and more. Eczema flare-ups can be brought on by environmental "triggers" such as soaps, clothing fabrics, deodorants, carpet fibers, and dust. Overheating, excessive sweating, low humidity, certain foods, and stress can also cause this reaction. However, no cure currently exists that can effectively manage the condition with proper care and treatment.

Directions & Ingredients
Recommended Use:

Temporarily protects and helps relieve minor skin irritation and itching due to rashes and eczema.

Recommended Dose:

Children 1-11 years, Adolescents 12-17 years, Adults 18 years and older: Apply to affected area as needed.

Cautions and Warnings:

For external use only. When using this product, avoid contact with eyes. If contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water. Stop use and seek medical advice if symptoms worsen or last for more than 7 days. Keep out of reach of children. If swallowed, call a poison control centre or get medical help right away.

Medicinal Ingredients:

Hard Fat Triglyceride Esters (Camel Oil, 50%), Avena Sativa (Colloidal Oatmeal, Avena Sativa - Seed) 1%.

Non-Medical Ingredients:

Sweet Almond Oil, Purified Aqua (Water), Beeswax, Glycerin, Shea Butter, Flaxseed Oil, Phenoxyethanol, Sodium Hydroxide, Cocoa Butter, DL-Alpha Tocopheryl Acetate, Allantoin, L-Lactic Acid, Polysorbate 20.
